I had my Fish Cat 4 Deluxe Float Tube for around ten years now. I use it regularly. I fish about 120 days a year and I'm guessing that about 25-30% of that is in the tube. I love this thing. I would not trade it for any other model of float tube out there. It's comfortable. Easy to get in and out of. It lets me sit higher than other tubes out there. It's very maneuverable and easy to control even in a stiff wind. I'm still fishing when the guys in pontoons have given up. It moves a lot faster and easier than those U shaped tubes. I can't think of anything on the Fish Cat 4 Deluxe I would want to see changed. They've addressed the stripping basket on the later versions which is a plus for future buyers. I love that it has four D rings on the bottom. I just blow it up at the car, then thread some 1" tubular webbing through it for shoulder straps, chuck my lunch and gear in the pockets and I'm off, ready to hike in to my favorite lakes. I've never had any problems with the bladders. After ten seasons of heavy use, all I have had to deal with is a leaky Boston valve that can be easily replaced. If this tube ever wears out...(I'm beginning to doubt that I'll outlive it)... I will definitely replace it with another Fish Cat 4 Deluxe. The best fly fishing gear money I've ever spent.
